Day - 01 ( SEOUL ARRIVAL )

Day - 02 ( SEOUL )

  • Breakfast at Hotel. F/day city tour of GYEONGBOKGUNG PALACE, THE BLUE HOUSE (the office of the President), NATIONAL FOLK MUSEUM, INSADONG, N SEOUL TOWER, NAMSAN HANOK VILLAGE. GYEONGBOKGUNG PALACE: Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also commonly referred to as the “Northern Palace” because it is located more toward the north, compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeongheegung (Western Palace). Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful and remains the grandest of all the five palaces. BLUE HOUSE: The signature marking of (the office of the President) Cheong Wa Dae is its blue tiles. It is the first thing that catches one's attention upon entering the premises. The blue tiles and the smooth roof blends beautifully with Mt. Bugaksan in the backdrop. The unique buildings of Cheong Wa Dae comprises of the Main Office: Yeongbingwan(Guest House), Chunchugwan (Spring and Autumn Pavilion), Nokjiwon (Green grass), Mugunghwa (Rose of Sharon) Valley and the Seven Palaces. NATIONAL FOLK MUSEUM: Located inside Gyeongbokgung Palace, the National Folk Museum of Korea presents over 4,000 historical artifacts that were used in the daily lives of ordinary Korean people. Here you can fully immerse yourselves in previous domestic and agricultural lifestyles and learn about Korea’s cultural beliefs. The National Folk Museum of Korea has three permanent and two special exhibitions as well as a library, souvenir shop and other subsidiary facilities. INSADONG: Because it is the largest market of traditional Korean art and products, Insadong is the ideal place for visitors who want to experience the true character of Korea with its subtle enduring beauty. Once you are in Insadong, you will immediately be drawn to the small alleys lined with numerous shops, galleries both tiny and spacious, antique shops, Korean stationery stores, frame shops, handicraft shops, pottery and porcelain shops, bookstores, painting studios and art supply stores. In addition, restaurants and cafes serve traditional food and teas. N SEOUL TOWER: Opened to the public on October 15,1980, N Seoul Tower has been designated as a major tourist attraction where the beautiful panoramic view of Seoul can been seen. The 236.7 meter high Seoul Tower built on the 243m Mt. Namsan has been known as the best tower in Asia. After 30 years of devoted support from tourists, it was remodeled on December 9, 2005 with a magnificent new look. NAMSAN HANOK VILLAGE: The Korea House was opened in 1981. It is a traditional Korean building that introduces the culture and lifestyle of Koreans, where you can experience traditional architecture and a classical atmosphere. The building was built in the style of the Joseon Dynasty's Jagyeong-jeon building at the Gyeongbok Palace. It is the only building built in the traditional architectural style. You will feel its antiquity as you enter the building. Overnight in SEOUL.

Day - 03 ( SEOUL/GYEONGJU )

  • Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Gyeongju. Proceed to BULGUKSA TEMPLE, SEOKURAM GROTTO. GYEONGJU: As the capital of the Silla Kingdom for almost a thousand years, Gyeongju preserves vast amount of significant and fascinating historical heritages. Along with Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, the Gyeongju Historical District has been designated as a World Heritage by UNESCO. Due to the bountiful historical, natural and cultural attractions, this region has long been a major tourist destination in Korea. BULGUKSA TEMPLE: Bulguksa Temple is the representative relic of Gyeongju and was designated as a World Cultural Asset by UNESCO in 1995. The beauty of the temple itself and the artistic touch of the stone relics are known throughout the world. Bulguksa Temple was built in 528 during the Silla Dynasty, in the 15th year of King Beop-Heung's reign (514~540). SEOKURAM GROTTO: Another fine example of Silla craftsmanship. Built over 1200 years ago, its architectural structure was far ahead of its time and worthy of tremendous study in itself. Its flawless carvings of supremely intricate design defy the creative limitations of granite it was widely believed then and even remains true to this very day that many Koreans believe Seokguram was conceived with the help of some divine assistance. Overnight in GYEONGJU.

Day - 04 ( GYEONGJU/BUSAN )

  • Breakfast at hotel. H/day city tour of ANAPJI POND, CHEOMSEONGDAE OBSERVATORY, DAEREUNGWON TOMB COMPLEX. ANAPJI POND: Anapji Pond was built during the 14th year of King Munmu of the Silla Dynasty. Small mountains were created inside the palace walls, beautiful flowers were planted and rare animals were brought in to create an exquisitely exotic garden fit for royalty. The pond was originally built in Wolseung Fortress (erected in 101 AD during the Silla period) but the fortress was destroyed and now lies in ruins. In 1974, an excavation project revealed large spherical shapes (measuring 200 meters in diameter and 180 meters in height) which indicated that 3 islands had been located in the pond. Thanks to these important findings and existing historical records, Anapji Pond has been restored to its former glory. CHEOMSEONGDAE: Cheomseongdae is the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia. Constructed during the reign of Queen Seon-deok (632-647), it was used for observing the stars in order to forecast the weather. This stone structure is a beautiful combination of straight lines and curves and was designated as National Treasure No.31 on December 20th,1962. DAEREUNGWON: Large ancient tombs of kings and noblemen of the Silla Dynasty can be seen around Gyeongju at the Daereungwon Tomb Complex (Cheonmachong Tomb). There are twenty-three large tombs located here, the most famous being Cheonmachong and Hwangnamdaechong. During the excavation of the area in the 1970's, Cheonmachong was discovered with a painting of mounted horse. Transfer to BUSAN. Upon arrival H/day city tour of TAEJONGDAE POINT, BUSAN TOWER (YONGDUSAN PARK), UN CEMETRY, JAGALCHI FISH MARKET. TAEJONGDAE POINT: Designated as a Busan monument, along with Oryukdo Island. Taejongdae represents Busan and is especially famous for its rock beach. Featuring its highest peak at 250 meters, there are forests of pine trees and other 200 varieties of trees. Taejongdae was named after the 29th king of Silla Dynasty (BC 57-AD 935),King TaeJong Mu-Yeol (604-661). King TaeJong had traveled to many places but this was the place he enjoyed shooting arrows. BUSAN TOWER: Busan Tower is a symbol of Busan that stands proudly 69m above sea level at a height of 120m. The top of the tower is modeled after the baldaquin of Dabotap Pagoda in Bulguksa Temple, Gyeongju. Beloved by Busan citizens and tourists alike, the tower offers a stunning night view and plenty to see, such as the Statue of the Great Admiral Yi Sun-Shin, the bell of the citizens, a flower clock, the Museum of musical instruments of the world and a bust of the Busan-based independent activist, Baeksan An Hee-Je. UN CEMETERY: This place is a sacred ground made by UN Headquarters in 1951 in order to bury the UN forces who died in the Korean War broken out in 1950. This is a holy site for those dead soldiers from 11 nations whose names were interred. Approximately 11,000 soldier names were interred at the UN-CEMETRY between 1951~1954. Turkey sent 14,936 dispatched for world peace and freedom in which 462 soldier names were interred at UN-CEMETRY. JAGALCHI FISH MARKET: Jagalchi Fish Market in Busan is one of the best known seafood markets in Korea. Formed in the late 19th century, it distributes 30 to 50% of the total seafood (both dried and freshly sold). Overnight in BUSAN.

Day - 05 ( BUSAN )

  • Day 1: Breakfast at hotel. Full day free at leisure on your own at HAEUNDAE BEACH. HAEUNDAE BEACH: The most famous beach in the country that measures 1.5 km in length and 0-50m in width. The white sand is rough and sticks easily to your skin. The sand of this beach is composed of sand that comes from Chuncheon Stream and shells that have been naturally eroded by the wind over time. Overnight in BUSAN.

Day - 06 ( BUSAN / SEOUL )

  • Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Seoul en route to Yongin,stop at EVERLAND RESORT and have fun time at leisure. EVERLAND RESORT: Located in Yongin, Everland is a large theme park boasting a zoo, snow sledge and botanical garden. The park also contains three distinct themes namely Festival World, Caribbean Bay and Speedway. Festival World includes Global Fair, American Adventure, Magic Land, European Adventure and Equatorial Adventure each created with is own unique style. Caribbean Bay is the very first water park in Korea. Speedway is South Korea's first racing track. The speedway has held racing events of various scales. It also gives opportunities to experience and enjoy race car driving for ordinary people with no previous racing experience. Transfer to Seoul. Overnight in SEOUL.

Day - 07 ( SEOUL )

  • Breakfast at hotel. Leisure time for shopping at YONGSAN ELECTRONIC MARKET, ITAEWON SHOPPING MALL. YONGSAN ELECTRONIC MARKET: The Yongsan Electronics district is an enormous wholesale electronics market located near the Yongsan train station. The electronics district specializes in various consumer electronics including computers, computer parts, DVDs, CDs and many other types of electronic goods. There are more than 3,000 stores situated in this area, shoppers will find all their electronics needs at prices 15 to 30% cheaper than retail shops. ITAEWON SHOPPING MALL: Itaewon is a unique place in Seoul where one can meet people of diverse nationalities and cultures. There is a popular joke saying that international residents may not know Seoul, but they know Itaewon. Seoul even designated Itaewon as its first ‘Special Tourism District, to highlight it as a destination for internationals to enjoy a diversity of culture, shopping and entertainment experiences.
